Last month we talked about the importance of Connection in our “In Good Health” article. I would like to continue the conversation, to explain why Network Care is an important part of maintaining self-connection.
As I told you, we recently changed internet providers in order to improve our online connection to the outside world. We were going to pay a little more, but I was happy to do it, as I was excited to experience incredible HIGH SPEED, to surf and enjoy the world wide web at its’ finest. To say I was initially disappointed is an understatement. I was still experiencing problems. My television (which ran through my internet) had terrible sound quality, I was sometimes kicked off Netflix mid movie(!) and parts of our home still experienced rotten wifi coverage. I called the company to complain and seek a solution. A technician was dispensed to our home to check our set-up.
It turns out that the original technician had taken a short cut and connected our extenders through our phone lines. These are considered “CAT 2” cables. (this meant nothing to me, but I am learning all kinds of new technological terms!) We did have CAT 4 wiring in the walls, but he was in a hurry and didn’t take the time to search out these connections. The result was that we were paying for excellent internet and it was coming in to the house, but it wasn’t being accessed and we weren’t able to take advantage of it.
Our nervous systems are a lot like electrical wiring. People often ask how the light touch from Network Care can really do anything and I take them to a wall and show them how touching the wall at a specific spot (the light switch) will change the lighting of a room. Of course it is because the room is pre-wired. Our bodies are pre-wired, and messages travel along the nervous system.
Stored patterns of tension from an injury or postural habit (!) can distort the flow of these messages. Network Care works to help the body recognize and correct these areas of interference so the nervous system functions more efficiently. This will improve nerve flow to all parts of the body and improve overall health. It is not about pain relief. Sometimes we think we don’t need care any more once pain or other obvious symptoms go away. This is not true. You may not require care as frequently, but as long as you are using your nervous system to operate your body, you will need to maintain that system! We do updates, upgrades and maintenance on our computers to keep them running smoothly. We need to maintain our nervous system too.
Make sure you protect your nervous system from harmful distortions. These may be caused by postural stresses such as your position sleeping or sitting at the computer, carrying bags/purses on one side, looking at cell phones, etc. Get regular maintenance with Network Care to optimize your nerve flow. We should all access our “Cat 4 wiring” to experience life to the full and be the best we can be.
